This is the lovely "Fairy Lu Lu". After finishing "Fairy Work", I thought the little red haired fairy so cute that I had to paint her portrait. So actually both paintings are suppose to be of the same fairy. She is a bird fairy and takes care of all the little birds in the forest. There are so many babies right now that her work is never done.

I met this fairy for the first time peeping out from behind this tree.

I want to thank Jenny Carter creator of "Wonders of Whimsy" for showing a couple of my paintings on her blog. A very entertaining blog. Thank you again Jenny.

Your Lu Lu Fairy is so magical and sweet, it makes me want to search my OWN woods for a special fairy!

I am positive you would find one in your woods and maybe even more than one. :)

This painting is darling. I am tempted to bid on her for my niece. She is a read head and I have bought her a fairy doll and red head angel painting for her birthday. This would be a perfect gift as well. She is only 8 or 9, but I thought I would start her first art collection for her.

Thanks for mentioning me on your blog. Entertaining, wow, that's good cuz sometimes I think I am a bore....lol

Okay, I know, I already commented, but I could not get this mother goose rhyme out of my head for two days...

Peas porridge hot,
Peas porridge cold,
Peas porridge in the pot
Nine days old.

Some like it hot,
Some like it cold,
Some like it in the pot
Nine days old.

LMAO...Thanks Pease Porridge!

Oh, I love red headed little girls. My Grandma was one, but it was not passed down to any of us. :( After I painted "Fairy Lu Lu" I thought that it would look sooo cute in a girls room.

You know, Hot Tamale Art Studio is named after my cat Tamale. She is always right there looking over everything, so I named it after her. I did not even think of the candy! And then, Pease Porridge, well that is a given. Strangely enough, my husband is deathly allergic to peas. :/
