I thought this was a pretty romantic painting appropriate for Valentine's Weekend. He wasn't going to sing to her, but I thought....... it is my painting and I want him to sing, so he did and her smile grew just a little bigger. "Serenaded Stroll" is up on etsy.

I am so happy that it is warming up to be a beautiful weekend here.

Speaking of warming up, Tamale is always looking to warm her old bones. She gave me her Valentine gift early. She was very crafty to leave it right on the actual date of the calender laying on my desk. I won't tell you what it was because it really wasn't very nice. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend with your loved ones!

This one is called, " Prayer for the Ripe, But Not Too Ripe Avocado" on etsy now. One of my most favorite foods is a perfectly ripe avocado. Even when you think you have a good one, it could have strings. That is the worst. I guess they are little roots? I don't know. I should have looked it up. I try to plan out my avocados so that I have one for lunch everyday. This can be difficult. That is where the prayer comes in.

I started painting party people and did not stop. These first three painted on wood plaques are obviously your cake and coffee type of party. I really love painting on the wood. I have not done it in awhile, but I really love the way the paint glides over it. It was Rose's idea to give them puff sleeves. I like them like that.

I am not sure where the last party is. It looks a little dark and I can tell they are serving cocktails.

These are all on Etsy.

We have a blizzard coming our direction. I spent yesterday gathering candles and wood. In conditions like these we could loose power. It wouldn't be the first time. So I pray I am prepared.

After this storm, I HOPE I will not run into the problem I had last week. We had a very lonely snowman living in the back yard. Rose could not stand looking at him so sad so we made him a cat.

Instantly a smile came over his face and his heart warmed just enough to melt him right over.

Then, the cat was sad.
I wish all of you a warm and safe couple of days! Hopefully I will resurface by the end of the week with a new painting.
