OK, I am going to go from zero posts in a week to probably three posts in a day.

The kids are doing so much better with school, so I am feeling my creativity coming back. Aaaaahhh

Such a nice feeling of happiness.

I know these are not something you would expect from me, but I had a request from a yoga enthusiast to make an 'Om' necklace. That I did. I also made these really cool sparkly buttons. These are made of real glass so they come with tiny imperfections that glass beads come with, but I love the organic heavy feel these have compared to plastic. The glitter on the sides of these really make them pop! They look so cool on a jean jacket, purse or yoga bag. These will be at my Etsy shop.

I will be back soon to show off my other goodies.

The weekends go so fast. I am still adjusting to the kids being gone during the day at school. Rose cried again this morning. It just tears my heart out. I am hoping she will be better tomorrow.

I would love to be able to enjoy the quiet house while they are gone, but I spend the whole time thinking about them. Ugh!

I still have these two to keep me company.

When I am not worrying about Rose and Nino, I am trying to find an easy way to make these necklaces. I have been wearing them all summer and have given some away. Rose loves them too. They are great for young girls and adults. I hope to find a fast way to make them so I can price them super low.

Hope all is well in your world.

Here is a pic of Anthony and Rose on the first day of school yesterday.

These smiles were not there today.

I had to drag Rose kicking and screaming and Nino seemed to be walking with a grey cloud around his head.

I, of course, am carrying around a paper bag to breathe into. We are all having a little bit of separation anxiety. Don't get me wrong, I do act strong for them. I wear a nice big smile in the morning. I do not get the paper bag out until after they are gone.

I am however able to get much done around the house. Mostly of the scrubbing nature. It is hard for me to be creative when I feel nervous. I do plan to have something new by next week.

Hope you all are having an easier week than me.

I am still just busy planning back to school. I have to plan a little more than most since Anthony is severely allergic to dairy. It all makes me very anxious, but I am sure once everything is settled I will feel much better.

This painting is called "Witch of the East". It has been collaged with a vintage "The Wizard of OZ" children's book. I love how her little scare crow doll turned out.
I have her up on eaby now.

I am sorry I have not been by all of your lovely blogs much. I am trying to soak up every last bit of summer. I start to tear up at the thought of summer being over. I truly can't stand the thought of it.....

Here is "Sing from the Heart" up on ebay. Hope you all had a good weekend!

I did not think I would get a painting done this week. It took every spare moment to sneak away and do this one. It is called "Not Like Me". On ebay now.

We have been busy doing all last minute summer fun before vacation is over. One of the things we did was go see the movie "Coraline" at the theatre. It was a free showing since it is already out for home video. WOW, what a movie. Was it meant for kids? Yikes. I did love it and of course, have already started acting like the "other mother" to Rose and Nino. It was funny because after we came home from seeing it at the movies I found it in our mailbox from Netflix. I had ordered it, but it was on a wait. Anyway we were able to watch it again then. I will have to buy this movie.

Hope you all are enjoying the last weeks of summer!
