Here is a look at my newest painting. It is called "Apple Blossom" . The colors are so bright and cheery. I have really fallen in love with this one. I will be putting it up on ebay tonight.

Anthony had to read me the story of Johnny Appleseed for school and that was my inspiration. Of course Spring is on the my mind too.

I thought I would also share a picture of Rose and her guests enjoying some tea. We had a little tea party yesterday. It was quite fun. We are going to try to make it a Friday afternoon tradition. Anthony had fun too. He brought a Lego Robot as his guest. If you look close you can see a Wonders of Whimsy creation in the background. My "Kitty Boo" . He is quite cute and goes very well there with all of my prim things.

Well, must get to baking my Green Cupcakes and I have Corned beef that needs to be checked. And, don't forget the green snake bread. Kids love that kind of stuff. Happy St. Patrick's weekend!

The painting is gorgeous. I love those trees! What a fun tea party and a life size princess..well, almost.heehee.

Kitty boo does look good there. Is his hat crooked? Just making sure there's no flaw in the craftsmanship...lol

Have fun with the St Patties celebration!

Jennifer,

I love this painting. I can see the Johnny Appleseed story. That story, Paul Bunyon, and Ichabod Crane were stories we were taught back in Pennsylvania growing up. If you think of the stories they present themselves to the 4 seasons.

Awwwwwwwww they are growing so fast just in a few months. Enjoy tea now.

Thank you for your award, I posted it tonight.... we have a food in common...my fav is just the avocado with a lil sea salt...to die for.

Smiles,

Sonia ;)

Hi there Jennifer, the newest painting you made is so pretty! I hope your having fun making those green cupcakes!

Sorry for the belated response about the picture of the children in Bolivia.

Good question. It was a cool night, but it was summer time then. Typically these children wear layers of clothes so that they look like the native adults in their country. They play little music or pose for photos, so that they can collect little money in their cup to bring back home:)

Hi Jeniffer,
Your painting reminds me of Van Gogh's blossom trees.
Cool photo of Rose and her friend!
