Foster Finally Fixed

We brought little man in yesterday for his neutering and shots. Poor little guy. I was more worried that he would think we were not keeping him. He had been shuffled around before he came to us. I was so anxious to return after the operation to show him that we were indeed taking him back home with us. I think he was very happy to see us. He went straight to the kitty chair to sleep the rest of his anesthesia off.

Also, here is a painting that I have up right now called "Kitty Stroll". It was painted after my memory of the strange antique strollers and walkers found at antique stores. It is so funny what people would place there children in. Such strange creations with wheels. My sisters and I would call them Bingo Extravaganzas because we had a little nephew we called Bingo at the time. We would laugh at the thought of putting him in these inventions, so here is a little girl strolling her kitty in one.

AWWWW! Foster is SO Adorable there! Bless his little kitty heart!

Yes, I remember the funny strollers we saw that day! I also remember Mom pointing out the very uncomfortable looking metal stroller like the one she pushed me around in the late 50's. We saw lots of funny baby things for our nephew Rory (Bingo) that day. Remember the big dangerous looking wooden rocking horse? It's a wonder babies survived back then, lol!

Well, they usually lost about half their babies back then.:/

Not in the 50's!! But yes, they lost many in the 1800's where a lot of those contraptions were from--but it was mostly from diseases...sad...

Poor kitty, Henry our dog recently went through the same 'ordeal.' He seems to have not been too traumatized though ;)
Those strollers are too cute! You're so imaginative. Reminds me of when I used to push my mom's 'first baby', a toy poodle, around in my own stroller. That dog probably ran when she saw me coming ;)

Oh Foster, poor little weesie. That's what my Mom called nice kitties and mean ones were from The Sir Benedict Nation - whatever that means.
