I came across a picture of fighting foxes in the Missouri Conservationist and was compelled to paint it. After I finished it, I thought ....hmmmm, this is a pretty vicious painting. I am not sure what I think about it, but now it is really growing on me. It will be hard to part with if it ever does sell. I have it up on Etsy. It is a big 16x20. Quite a statement. Ha ha


I also bought oil paints and all the cleaners and thinners to go with. I plan to dive into oils as soon as I can. Can't wait.

I can picture it hanging in a world traveler's abode....next to the old book collection and illuminated by a tiffany lamp :)

They are fiesty, but they sorta look like they're smiling ;) reminds me of brothers and sisters fighting ;)

There is something very appealing about this image... The fiery colors you've used really bring out their poses and the action...
