I hope you all had a very nice Thanksgiving. I kicked mine off by staying up all night trying to keep Nino comfortable until the doctor's office opened. He had a double ear infection . He just keeps getting hit over and over. My poor little boy. Luckily it was Tuesday night instead of Wednesday night. He was much better as soon as he had a second dose of meds. All was well by Thanksgiving Day.

I was able to finish this painting today. It is a BIG16X20. Up on ebay now.

I have so many little projects I would like to get done around the house. We are slowly tearing our carpet out and replacing it with hardwood. I am working on the stairs to the basement now. Is this how it looks at your house when you try to get something done? Why do kitties LOVE to be right in the middle of things? :)

Ouch! Poor thing hope your little one is on the mend now! My little Riley had an ear infection a few weeks ago and we had one of those nights, poor things it's just so painful having an ear infection. Love your new painting, it has a lovely wintery, Christmassy feel to it! Beautiful work!

Kitties love to help...they have all the answers, just ask:)
The horse in your painting is a very good horse! Really...you are very good at capturing animals, Julie. Poor, poor Nino! I was an ear ache kid, too. It is one of the worst pains. After I gave birth, I never gave ear aches a second thought, lol.

Aww your poor boy, glad he's on the mend though!
Your new painting is gorgeous, I love it when you paint big ;)

My stairs have looked like that now for over a year lol, we just never seem to finish projects, my bedroom is half painted and my front room awaiting being re-done in January, it never stops lol
Oh and I don't have any kitties but my little schnauzer likes to be right in the middle of evrything!!!

wow....this painting is GORGEOUS! I really love your winter landscapes, they are so beautiful.
And I know! Cats and kids...they want to be right up in your business. Whenever I'm working in the garden, I'm literally tossing cats out of the way ;) they are so nosey!
