Hey hon..the new painting is darling. I like how you have been showing them in that big chunky antique frame..it is right up my alley!!! I think it makes them look really cool that way.
Your style is turning out soo awesome. I can already see them in a museum..lol We may not be around, but hey whatever, right?!
OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH this one just does it for me. I mean the way a big mac does! I love it. And the angry snowman in the back makes it look very curious. Which is also up my alley!
I was reading Jenny's comment and chuckling. One day when we are all gone our paintings are hanging in some museum.. AHHHH dream come true!
Thanks for you comment chica. I had a lot of fun with this tree and it is REALLY REALLY different than any tree I have done before but the white blue and silver theme just did it for me this year.
As usual I love it. I remember so well looking out the window like that as a little girl. Such a feeling that sadly, never comes again, but looking at that I can feel a twinge.
ooohhhh so ~lovely~ my folks actually did the stones on the roof thing when i was a child at christmas time and i was a total convert to the beautiful ~Santa myth~ i like the little angry snowman in the window! Lol! x
Very nice! You really are in the spirit of things. Yes, I remember hearing the reindeer on my roof as a little girl-I just knew that Santa had arrived at my house.
I hope to post my latest watercolors this weekend that are more Holiday oriented. You along with others have inspired this direction for me.
Rock on with the wonderful work that you do. Thanks for inspiring us all.
