Two new paintings. The portrait "Orange Bow" is on Etsy. The collage "Kitty Babies" on ebay. You may have noticed no crackle or stain on my latest paintings. What ? Yes, you are correct. I was inspired by my two little artists to brighten up the home for spring.

It started with this painting painted by Rose. Can you guess who she was learning about? If you guessed Van Gogh you are correct. Let me tell you too, it is very cute to hear a 5 year old tell you about Van Gogh. I had to frame it and then to match with my other frames, up went more of their art work. I think it really brightens up the place.
I hope you all have a very wonderful weekend!!

These are lovely! So bright and cheery. And I love that your girl is learning about Van Gogh...I actually remember learning about him in the 4th grade. I was smitten....

Whoops, I accidentally deleted that. I LOVE the latest paintings. Orange Bow is SO Striking! The lack of crackle is refreshing. I love crackle, but it is nice for a change. That's cute about Rosie learning about Van Gogh. Has she ever listened to the song "Vincent" (Starry Starry Night)? Vincent didn't really cut off his whole ear for a lover. He accidentally cut off part of it when he was in a fight with Gaugin, another famous artist. Van Gogh had a very very troubled life, committed suicide at 37 and only sold one painting while he was alive. Poor guy...

I love the kids artwork especially side by side in those frames! There is nothing like the pure expression from our little ones! Your new paintings are beautiful...I am smitten with the one you have listed on etsy. A girl and her best kitty...so sweet! I hope you have a great Easter weekend too! : )
