Have you ever had a conversation with a paint brush?
I have.
I have told them that I will take good care of them and not leave them in water over night.
I have lied to many paint brushes in the past.
I promise this time will be different.
Jennifer

LOL...Oh yes,I know what you mean. My life as an artist is littered with the remains of so many poor paintbrushes. Dried up markers too...but somehow they don't give me the same kind of pangs as paintbrushes

So Cute! I too have lied to paint brushes...it doesn't go over well. Always end up getting new ones. ^_^

Ha! I think motherhood is very hard on brushes...how many times have I heard a squeal or a "Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaama!" and leaped up from my table and full brush...only to find it again hours later, all dried and ruined?
too many to count!

How strange that you would do a post on this because last night I left two paint brushes in water. Ayeeeeee! lol. That's a great painting.

I am also guilty of lying to my paintbrushes. I hate that they are all curled up on the ends. thank goodness for being able to print up those weekly 40% any item Hobby Lobby coupons! I love your little angel. I want to do a few heart things, but first I shall paint a tribute angel for dear aunt Alice--I still keep thinking of her--maybe this will help!

PS Do you want me to call you EARLY if there is a snow day tomorrow?

You are not alone (lol).

I came here via Silke's blog.

Hahahah! Yes I have. I talk to my art supplies. I kiss my paint brushes, I hug my canvases and I have slept with a tube of cobalt blue paint - well not in an odd way.

I am attracted to your paintings.
