I did not think I would get a painting done this week. It took every spare moment to sneak away and do this one. It is called "Not Like Me". On ebay now.

We have been busy doing all last minute summer fun before vacation is over. One of the things we did was go see the movie "Coraline" at the theatre. It was a free showing since it is already out for home video. WOW, what a movie. Was it meant for kids? Yikes. I did love it and of course, have already started acting like the "other mother" to Rose and Nino. It was funny because after we came home from seeing it at the movies I found it in our mailbox from Netflix. I had ordered it, but it was on a wait. Anyway we were able to watch it again then. I will have to buy this movie.

Hope you all are enjoying the last weeks of summer!

Oh that's so cute. Is she wishing she had legs too? Sad.

Oh, that is so cute! It reminds me of when you were little and you used to sing that Sesame Street song, "one of these things is not like the others...one of these things is just not the same..."

Wonderful painting!!!
I also loved Coraline but thought is was a little iffy for children. But my favorite has to be Corpse Bride. Have watched that one over and over.
Have a nice day! :)
