Here is a pic of Anthony and Rose on the first day of school yesterday.

These smiles were not there today.

I had to drag Rose kicking and screaming and Nino seemed to be walking with a grey cloud around his head.

I, of course, am carrying around a paper bag to breathe into. We are all having a little bit of separation anxiety. Don't get me wrong, I do act strong for them. I wear a nice big smile in the morning. I do not get the paper bag out until after they are gone.

I am however able to get much done around the house. Mostly of the scrubbing nature. It is hard for me to be creative when I feel nervous. I do plan to have something new by next week.

Hope you all are having an easier week than me.
Jennifer

My boys went back to school yesterday too and I was dreading it. They only had to go until 12:40and then they came home. This is how our school system eases them back into the routine for the first two days. But I'm there with you. The beginning of summer and you wonder what are you going to do with them and the end of summer you wonder what you will do without them.:)

No, no, nothing bad happened and they have very nice teachers. It is just such a long day and a lot of work. They would much rather be playing. It is especially hard for Rose because this is her first year. In my day Kindergarten was only a half day, but now they go all day. Poor baby. She will get use to it though. The teacher called and said she was having a good time there. That made me feel much better. I will always worry about Nino's food allergies though. Ugh.
