This painting is up on Etsy. "The Orange Cat Club".
A week ago we invited a stray young man cat into our home. He is very sweet and gentle, but very much in love with Tamale. She, of course, wants nothing to do with him so we are keeping them separated for now. He has just been neutered and I have heard it can take 30 days for his hormones to mellow out, but for now, he is never far from her door in hopes of getting a glimpse of the sweet sleeping beauty that lies within.
Here is a little peek of what goes on all day.

Some cats it doesn't take long for the hormones. Most of mine never spray after they get clipped and pretty much mellow out in a week or two. Males are always more friendly to other cats. it's the females that are kinda cranky! lol I hope they grow to love each other! That is so sweet and cute. Thanks for taking in the kitty!!!

I don't know how you do it. I really have my hands full with this new boy. He treats Tamale like she is a bird or a chipmunk. I sure hope he settles down soon. I tell my husband he is just bored that we should get another for him to play with. Hee hee.
