Hello Color and Goodnight Moon

We are just now starting to have beautiful fall color.

This one looks just like a green apple.

If you have ever been around little kids, you know the book, Goodnight Moon.
I have always thought how fun it would be to decorate a room just like the Goodnight Moon room. Well, this is probably as close as I will ever get. Unless, I finish the basement like this... hmmmm.
Anyway, there was a list of things we could have done for our school assignment, but Nino, my son, and I decided to make a pop up of the Goodnight Moon room. When we were finished Nino and Rose were so excited to play with it. I think it turned out pretty cute myself. Nino made the bunnies and many other items in the room. I think the bunnies have such cute faces!

I do have a few paintings that I am working on. I hope to finish them soon. I will give you a peak when I have them done. :)

The green apple tree it awesome. We are at our color change here too! I love it, plus it has not snowed to ruin it all. It is 70 all week! YIPPY.

Just so you know, I cannot recall that book...so there is someone out there! LMAO. I had horrible parents. There was never any reading books in my house.

Good thing I turned out as I did. I made my own paperdolls and houses and things to play with instead of reading...HMMMM

I am very proud of you for being such a wonderful teacher and mom. I would home school...if I had kids. Your kids are gonna be such wel behaved teenagers..at least that is what I have been told and have seen from home schooling!

Keep it up hon...and canot wait to see your new creations.

Your witch is on my desk in front of me..I will share her on myblog for Halloween...my desk is full of witches!

Hugs~

Thank you all for your sweet comments. Don't feel bad if you have never heard of Goodnight Moon. I did not know it until I had kids. I never had this book growing up, but I did have other wonderful books. I just LOVE Goodnight Moon and can recite it without looking. It is one of those that just sticks with you :)

That is so cute, Jennifer! I love Good Night Moon. Those plastic sets Doreen is talking about are called Colorforms. You might be too young to remember them, but I certainly do. See you tonight!!!! I better get cooking!

I LOVE Goodnight Moon! Even though my daughter is 23 now, I still remember reading it to her before bedtime.

The fall colors are so beautiful. We're getting them all now in Virginia too. Fall is especially inspiring for artists everywhere-color all around!
